Today is a monumental day.  The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade which was a decision that usurped the power of the states to determine what rights, if any, existed for abortion.  Now it is up to each state to decide what the Law is.

As with all decisions when the left loses there is a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth (not to mention the "mostly peaceful" protests I'm sure are coming) revealing a complete lack of understanding about our institutions and history.  But at times like this I often think back to a small clip I saw years ago of the late Justice Antonin Scalia explaining his view on Natural Law and why we should leave decisions to democratic institutions and not courts.

From my perspective it's been a great day and I thought I would share that clip.

Enjoy.
